  • Sessions: Eight weeks, Sundays 9am-9:45am
  • Location: Seadogs Training, Stour Valley Gundog Training Centre
  • Instructor: Rob & Julie Palmer.  Over 35 years experience of training dogs and people.  They both work their dogs in the shooting field so train to high standards

Topics Covered:

  1. Introduction to Gundog Training:
    • Understand the principles and goals of gundog training.
  2. Basic Commands:
    • Start building a reliable foundation with essential commands.
  3. Socialization and Exposure:
    • Develop positive behaviours through controlled socialisation and exposure.
  4. Introduction to Retrieving:
    • Begin conditioning your puppy for basic retrieving skills.

    • Establish proper lead etiquette for a well-behaved companion.

Requirements:

  • Puppies should be fully vaccinated before attending, although handlers are welcome to attend on their own to learn
