Building on the foundations from our Introduction to Scentwork Workshop, this follow-up session is designed to deepen your dog’s understanding, improve their searching skills, and boost their confidence even further.
In this engaging and supportive workshop, you and your dog will continue your scentwork journey with more advanced exercises and clear progression. Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or simply have more fun together, this session is the perfect next step.
Important: Dogs must have already been introduced to a target scent (for example, by attending our Introduction to Scentwork Workshop or similar) in order to take part in this session.
In this workshop, we will:
- Develop stronger, more consistent scent indications
- Introduce more complex search setups
- Build duration and focus during searches
- Enhance handler skills and timing
- Increase your dog’s confidence and independence
Scentwork remains a fantastic activity for dogs of all ages and breeds, providing excellent mental enrichment and a positive outlet for natural instincts.
