Please ensure you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions before booking with Seadogs Training.
By making a payment or attending any session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. General Terms & Conditions
All dogs must be vaccinated and up to date with inoculations for Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo Virus, and Parvo Influenza.
Dogs should also be up to date with flea and worming treatments. Vaccination for Kennel Cough is strongly recommended.
Dogs with infectious or contagious diseases are not permitted on site.
Owners remain responsible for all veterinary bills, however incurred. Lifetime pet insurance is recommended.
Seadogs Training accepts no responsibility for loss of, or injury to, your dog, person, or property during training sessions. Attendance is entirely at the owner’s own risk.
All dogs must remain on a lead unless specifically instructed otherwise.
Do not allow your dog to approach another dog without the trainer’s permission.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Trainers or other clients cannot take responsibility for children.
Seadogs Training uses only fair, balanced, and ethical training methods. Harsh, abusive, or aversive handling is strictly prohibited. Anyone using inappropriate methods may be asked to leave immediately without refund.
Seadogs Training accepts no responsibility for theft of, from, or damage to vehicles. Do not leave valuables or dogs unattended in vehicles.
Training sessions are held outdoors. Please be aware of uneven ground, natural obstacles, and other environmental hazards. You are responsible for your own safety, your dog’s safety, and the safety of any accompanying persons.
Behavioural issues must be declared before booking. Aggressive dogs are not permitted. Any dog deemed unsafe or aggressive may be asked to leave.
By attending, you consent to Seadogs Training (Rob Palmer) using photos, video, or audio recordings taken during sessions for marketing, education, or demonstration purposes without compensation.
Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste appropriately.
Seadogs Training cannot guarantee fencing or boundaries will prevent escapes. All liability for escaped or injured dogs rests with the owner.
Training in woods, fields, or water is not enclosed. Owners must ensure good recall and control. Attendance implies acceptance of associated risks.
Charges may apply for pegged game.
No bitches in season. Owners are welcome to attend without their dog to observe.
2. Booking Procedure, Payments, and the SimplyBook.me System
All Seadogs Training online bookings are processed through the SimplyBook.me online booking system, operated by SimplyBook.me Ltd., a Cyprus-registered company.
SimplyBook.me provides a booking and payment facilitation service only. It does not provide or guarantee any training services, refunds, or client protections.
When using the SimplyBook.me platform:

SimplyBook.me acts as the data processor for booking information.

Seadogs Training acts as the service provider and data controller for all client data, payments, cancellations, and services.

By booking via SimplyBook.me, you agree to both the SimplyBook.me Terms & Conditions and these Seadogs Training Terms, and acknowledge that Seadogs Training’s terms take precedence regarding refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks.
Payment secures your booking and confirms your acceptance of these Terms. Bookings are only confirmed once full payment is received.
All payments are final unless Seadogs Training cancels the session or event.
3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Reschedule Policy
72-Hour Policy:
Individual training sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 72 hours (3 full days) before the scheduled start time.

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before a session may be rescheduled once, free of charge, subject to trainer availability.

Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable and charged in full.

At Seadogs Training’s discretion, one reschedule may be offered if valid notice and reason are given before the session start time. This rescheduled session must take place within 30 days of the original date.

Failure to attend or late rescheduling forfeits the session and any associated fees.

This policy applies regardless of reason, including illness, emergencies, or weather, unless Seadogs Training cancels the session.
Group Classes, Workshops, and Events:
Spaces are limited and secured only upon full payment. Missed sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If your dog is in season or injured, you may attend without them to observe.
If Seadogs Training Cancels:
You will be offered either a full refund or an alternative date at no extra cost.
Seadogs Training is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other indirect expenses.
Pre-paid Block Bookings:
Discounted blocks must be used within 90 days of the last booked session. Unused sessions will expire with no refund.
Gift Vouchers:
Redeemable only for Seadogs Training services and subject to the same 72-hour reschedule policy.
Not exchangeable for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
By booking, you acknowledge that Seadogs Training provides time-based professional services (in-person or online).

You agree not to initiate a card chargeback for services provided, sessions missed, or cancellations made within the non-refundable period.

Any attempt to dispute a legitimate charge constitutes a breach of contract.

Seadogs Training reserves the right to recover any disputed or reversed payment, plus reasonable administrative or recovery costs.

Attendance records, payment confirmations, and communication logs shall constitute proof of service delivery in any dispute.
5. Online Training and Digital Courses
Online or remote training and digital courses are non-refundable once accessed, as access constitutes service delivery.
If Seadogs Training cancels a session, a full refund or new date will be offered.
6. Products Purchased Online
Product descriptions and images are accurate to the best of our ability, though variations may occur.
Full-priced items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in perfect condition.
Sale items and custom orders are non-refundable.
Returns are at the buyer’s cost.
7. Data Protection
Seadogs Training collects and processes personal data solely for managing bookings and services.
In compliance with the UK GDPR:

Seadogs Training acts as data controller; SimplyBook.me acts as data processor.

Data may be shared with local authorities (e.g., Babergh District Council) for licensing compliance.

Data is stored securely and may be deleted upon request by emailing rob@seadogstraining.co.uk.

Seadogs Training is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms such as SimplyBook.me.
8. Limitation of Liability
Attendance at training sessions is entirely at your own risk.
Seadogs Training accepts no liability for:

Loss, injury, or damage to persons, animals, or property,

Accidents occurring on or off training grounds, or
-
Consequential losses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.
9. Agreement and Governing Law
By paying for or attending any Seadogs Training service, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Seadogs Training reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Stour Valley Sporting – Terms & Conditions
Please ensure you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions before making a booking with Stour Valley Sporting.
By making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions

“The Agent” refers to Stour Valley Sporting and its representatives.

“The Gun” refers to the person or persons booking or participating in a roving syndicate day, shoot day, or any other event arranged by the Agent.

“The Shoot Provider” refers to the estate, shoot, or venue at which the event takes place.
2. Insurance and Certification
-
All Guns must hold valid and appropriate insurance for shooting sports. Membership with BASC (or equivalent) is recommended.
-
All Guns must hold a valid Shotgun Certificate and comply with all UK firearm laws and safety regulations.
-
The Agent and Shoot Provider reserve the right to verify insurance and certificate documentation before participation.
3. Equipment and Safety

Each Gun is responsible for providing their own shotguns and cartridges.
-
Double-gunning is not permitted unless agreed in writing in advance.
-
Pump-action and semi-automatic shotguns are not permitted unless specifically approved in writing.
-
Only fibre wads may be used on all shoot days.
-
Where applicable, non-toxic shot must be used in accordance with current legislation.
-
The Agent and Shoot Provider reserve the right to refuse participation to any Gun deemed unsafe or unfit to shoot. No refund will be given in such cases.
4. Booking Procedure, Payment, and Card Chargebacks

Payment secures your booking. Places are not confirmed until full payment has been received.

By paying, the Gun agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.

All payments are final unless the Agent cancels the event.

The Agent will add a 10% arrangement fee to all bookings, payable at the time of booking.

Card Chargebacks / Payment Disputes:
-
By booking, you acknowledge that the service provided constitutes a time-based sporting arrangement and agree not to initiate a card chargeback for cancellations, dissatisfaction, or any circumstance where these Terms apply.

Any unjustified chargeback will incur an administrative recovery fee and may result in legal recovery of funds, including associated costs.

Records of booking, communications, and attendance serve as binding evidence of the transaction.
-

Should costs increase after booking (for example, due to shoot provider changes or game cost fluctuations), the Agent reserves the right to pass on these increases to the Gun.
5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Reschedules

Cancellations by the Gun:
-
Once booked, all monies paid are non-refundable.
-
If the Gun cancels their place, all payments are forfeited unless the Agent can find a suitable known replacement Gun for that day.
-
If a replacement is found, a refund may be issued minus 30% to cover administrative costs.
-
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable, though at the Agent’s discretion, the booking may be rescheduled once within the same season or transferred to another available day.

Cancellations by the Shoot Provider or Agent:
-
In the event the shoot day is cancelled by the Shoot Provider, the Agent will make every reasonable effort to recover any monies paid and issue a refund less the 10% arrangement fee.

The Agent cannot guarantee recovery of funds and therefore strongly recommends that Guns hold appropriate cancellation insurance.
-
Neither the Agent nor the Shoot Provider shall be liable for cancellations resulting from adverse weather, government restrictions, disease outbreak (e.g. avian flu, COVID-19), or other events beyond reasonable control.

Changes to the Shoot Day:
-
The Shoot Provider may, at their discretion, amend the format, bag size, or price of the day.
-
The Agent may adjust bookings accordingly if such changes are deemed reasonable and in the best interests of the Guns.

6. Conduct and Safety on the Day
-
The Agent and Shoot Provider have absolute discretion over the conduct and organisation of the shoot day.
-
The Agent or Shoot representative may stop any Gun from shooting at any time if they believe the Gun poses a safety risk.
-
Any Gun behaving in a dangerous, irresponsible, or inappropriate manner will be asked to leave immediately with no refund given.
-
Ground game shall not be shot unless specifically directed.
-
Guns must convene at the assigned location and time provided prior to the day. Late arrivals may miss drives or the entire day without refund.
7. Adverse Conditions and Force Majeure

The Shoot Provider or Agent may cancel or alter a shoot day due to:
-
Adverse weather (including storms, flooding, or heavy snow);
-
Disease outbreaks affecting game or wildlife;
-
Demonstrations, protests, or safety risks;
-
Government restrictions or bans on shooting activities.

In such cases, a rescheduled date or partial refund (at the Shoot Provider’s discretion) will be offered.
-
The Agent and Shoot Provider accept no legal responsibility for any unrecoverable costs, losses, or consequential expenses.
8. Catering and Hospitality
Catering will be provided as described in pre-booking literature. Dietary requirements must be communicated at least seven days before the event.
9. Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in the booking price. Tipping is at the Gun’s discretion and should reflect personal satisfaction with the day. The Agent can advise on customary gratuity levels if requested.
10. Liability

All Guns participate entirely at their own risk.

The Agent accepts no responsibility for loss, injury, damage, or theft occurring before, during, or after any shoot day.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.

The Gun is responsible for the safe use of their firearm and for maintaining appropriate insurance cover.
11. Data Protection

The Agent collects and stores personal data solely to manage bookings and shoot arrangements.
-
Data will be stored securely and may be shared with Shoot Providers only when necessary for operational purposes.

You may request data deletion at any time by emailing info@stourvalleysporting.co.uk.
12. Governing Law and Agreement
By paying the invoice, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The Agent reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
