Follow Up Scentwork Workshop
Already introduced your dog to scentwork and ready to take things a little further?
This follow-up workshop is designed for dogs and handlers who have already introduced their dog to a scent and want to build on those foundations.
We’ll look at how to challenge your dog a little more, developing their ability to search, use their nose and work things out independently.
During the workshop, we’ll explore ways to increase the difficulty of your scentwork exercises while keeping things fun, achievable and rewarding for your dog.
You’ll learn how to progress your training, introduce more challenging searches and continue developing your dog’s confidence and focus.
This workshop is suitable for:
- Dogs who have already been introduced to scentwork
- Handlers who have attended our introductory scentwork workshop
- Anyone who has started scentwork at home and wants ideas for progressing
- Dogs of all breeds and ages
Whether you’re doing scentwork purely for fun, enrichment or as another way to give your dog a job to do, this workshop will give you plenty of ideas to take home and continue training.
Please note: This is a follow-up workshop, so your dog should already have an understanding of the scent you are working with.
