Fantastic day at Ampton shoot a Walked up day with starting with a full breakfast 
. A tough day with challenging cover and scenting conditions.
But I was very pleased with Gin. She worked well in front of the guns and was steady to flushing game and hares! She also worked well retrieving a good number of birds shot. Currently curled up with me on the sofa after being checked over after shooting and a well earned dinner.
It was important to all of us attending today that we made time to observe a 2 minutes silence 
at 11am 
where our guns also fell silent to pay our respects and to remember. Afterwards we raised a glass in remembrance and enjoyed our elevenses break.
Before continuing with our days shooting. At the end of the day we returned to the hall for our lunch and a lovely cuppa 
before heading home
